Cazenove Gardner Lee, Jr. (1882-1945) was a genealogist and prolific writer, who founded the Society of Lees of Virginia. This collection conists of photographs and negatives relating to family and career of Cazenove Gardner Lee, Jr. The images are primarily of various gunpowder mills and machinery.

Charles B. Murray (1872-1947) worked as a foreman in building construction and was a resident of Wilmington, Delaware with his wife Christina Green (1878-1961). The collection consists of sixty glass negatives taken by Charles Murray of Wilmington, Delaware, and Albany, New York. Many of the views are of families, children and other groups of people, some of which were taken in parks or other recreational areas such as beaches. There are also views of the Wilmington Malleable Iron Company showing both equipment and employees, including the "office group" and the workers in the carpenter shop. There is also a view of the Jessup & Moore Paper Company Mills on the Brandywine in Wilmington.

Based in Wilmington, Delaware, Frank Earle Schoonover (1877-1972) was a prolific commercial illustrator, artist, and avid photographer. Over the course of a six-decade career, he completed more than twenty-five hundred works, primarily illustrations for magazines and books but also landscapes, portraits, murals, book plates, sculpture, and stained-glass windows. This collection consists of negatives taken by Schoonover, largely for use as source material for his artwork. There are also images of his artwork, restoration projects, and him, his family, and friends.

Games of chance such as poker, blackjack, roulette, and craps are common table games played at casinos. This is a small collection of photographs and ephemera related to casino equipment. There are professional photographs and prints of blackjack, craps, and roulette tables, although it cannot be determined who the manufacturers are of these tables. None of the images is dated; the range is likely between the 1930s and 1940s.

Genevieve Pittner (1917-2007) of Monroe, Michigan, collected roller skating rink stickers between 1941 and 1942, amassing a large collection by exchanging stickers by mail with other collectors. This collection consists primarily of roller skating rink stickers during the World War II era. A large album contains most of the stickers in the collection; stickers are attached to album pages and arranged alphabetically by state.

The Hiebler family papers include documents pertaining to four generations. The bulk of the collection consists of letters written by Alfred I. du Pont to his grandsons Bayard Hiebler and Benno Hiebler, dated 1927 to 1935.

Pamela Cunningham Copeland (1906-2001) and Lammot du Pont Copeland (1905-1983) were active in the land conservation movement, cultural institutions (including both the Hagley and Winterthur Museums), and local civic and philanthropic work. The collection contains photographs of Pamela and Lammot du Pont Copeland and family members. Many of the pictures document the couple's various activities and philanthropic endeavors.

Pierre A. Gentieu (1842-1930) was a long-term employee of E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company who created an invaluable photographic record of the company's Brandywine Mills at the turn of the century. This is a small group of photographs related to northern New Castle County, Delaware. There are two photographs taken by Pierre and Frederic A. Gentieu, father and son, who photographed an August outing with a large group of men, women, and children.

Porta L. Young (1920-2015) was part owner of a mom-and-pop family furniture store, Kepner & Romich Furniture Store, in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. The album was prepared by Young to document her family's activities between June 6, 1964 and April 2, 1965. Like a scrapbook, it contains a wide assortment of objects and ephemeral literature, including Christmas, birthday and valentine cards, snapshots, tourist literature and souvenirs, picture postcards, guide maps, programs, tickets, newspaper clippings, and pin-back buttons issued to visitors and in the 1964 presidential race, down to placemats, decorative sugar packets, cardboard badges and a dried magnolia leaf from Mount Vernon. Unlike many family scrapbooks, each object or group of objects is accompanied by substantial typed text describing the family's experiences and reactions.

Roller skating was a popular recreational hobby between 1935 through the 1970s. Starting in the early 1940s, a handful of enterprising roller skating rink owners looking for a way to promote their rinks began giving away colorful stickers printed with the name of the rink and a skating-related graphic. This collection primarily consists of roller staking rink stickers from various states in the United States and Canada. There are a few photographs of skaters and correspondence about sticker trading.

William Wallace Atterbury (1866-1935) was a career officer on the Pennsylvania Railroad and its president from 1925 to 1935. The collection consists of photographs and other materials relating to William Wallace Atterbury. Many of the photographs are portraits and other pictures of Atterbury and his family, friends, and associates, including his Yale classmates, business leaders, and notable figures such as President and Mrs. Herbert Hoover and Charles Lindburgh.

The Wilson family were owners of the Wilson Line, a steamboat company that was popular for traveling between Philadelphia, Pennslyvania, Wilmington, Delaware and Riverview Beach, New Jersey. This collection contains portraits of groups and individuals, as well as snapshot of family members and their estate and documents related to Frances W. Richardson's volunteer work for hospitals and the American Red Cross.

Angling is a method of fishing by means of using an angle or fish hook. The hook itself can be dressed with lures or bait to attract the fish. F. Earl Christy (1883-1961) was an illustrator whose early works glorified the society college girl. After the college girl craze ran its course, he painted more mature men and women, movie stars, and political figures in his romantically idealized style. These three items show women with fishing poles. One of the postcard illustration's artwork is by F. Earl Christy.
