Primarily concerned with planning retention or destruction of Hanford records. Included are an index of construction records: planned and actual destruction dates for a number of record groups; and storage lists from the Hall of Records. The majority of this material is concerned with the disposition of records involved with contract W7412-Eng-1 in particular.

This is essentially a list of titles, with occasional brief descriptions such as "preparation of material for the experimental chain-reacting pile". They are listed by division (Physics I, Physics II, etc.).

This was prepared by John E. Willard, one of the consultants hired by the APC. A title list, with a code number for the laboratory or institution where the work was performed (the University of Chicago, California, Indiana, or Ames).

A list of records loaned, date loaned, and to whom. Only very general titles provided, such as "Monthly Work Report" or "Lead Dipping Process".

A list of records by Department and area or section, then alphabetically by topic such as "Health Instruments". No titles or dates.

Classified by general categories: undated and unnumbered; undated and numbered; and 1939-43. Brief title given, author, date where possible. Includes a few weekly departmental reports.

Construction documents are listed by office, crate number, and file subject in alphabetical order; some are marked "designated for destruction". Incoming documents are listed by date of file, from whom it was sent, to whom it was sent, subject of file, and a designation number.

List of primarily technical notebooks by number, general subject area, date of issue, and to whom assigned. In some cases a notation of its date of destruction is included. Some are classified by department.
