 File — Box: 6, Folder: 19
Accession: 1957Identifier: 1957-II.-D.

Dates

  • Creation: 1957-1965

Scope and Contents

Contains evidence and affidavits for both sides of the case, in which Jerome S. Spevack (at one time a consultant for Du Pont) charged that Du Pont under the direction of the AEC unlawfully made use at the Dana plant of a chemical exchange process for which he had previously obtained a patent. The bulk of the material consists of copies of the patent documentation, Spevack's charges, and the evidence for Du Pont's rebuttal, which concentrated on attacking the validity of Spevack's patent. Included are explanations of the process (the "GS process") under dispute and its development from previous processes.
