Correspondence and enclosures from Kruesi as Director of the Manufacturing Division. Topics addressed include recommendations for SRP from a 1972 environmental effects study; reduction and handling of wastes at SRP and responsibility for same; monitoring of noise and radiation levels in the plant; processing of off-site fuel owned by ERDA; the production/recovery of electric power from ocean thermal energy conversion as opposed to an SRP-type reactor; the incident at Three Mile Island and possible ramifications for operations at SRP; and employee morale.
