James Quinn du Pont (1902-1973) spent much of his career with the Public Relations Department of E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company (also known as the DuPont Company). In his role, du Pont traveled throughout the country presenting speeches to the public and company employees to promote DuPont's interests. His papers primarily comprise speeches, business correspondence, and routine memos and notes.
