The Winterthur estate is now known as Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library located in Wilmington, Delaware. The estate is the former home of Henry Francis du Pont (1880-1969) who was born there on May 27, 1880, the son of Henry Algernon du Pont and the great-grandson of E.I. du Pont, the founder of the DuPont Company.
