These letters are to and from various relatives, including her parents; husband; brother Ferdinand Bauduy (1791-1814); sister Cora (1796-1870), wife of John Peter Garesché; and other relatives. About half of them were written while she was a pupil in the school of Madame Marie Rivardi, in Philadelphia.
