Scope and Contents
The Correspondence, business, and personal documents series includes personal letters between family members, promissory notes, and business correspondence. Of particular interest are Brandywine Manufacturers Sunday School subscription lists, notes on imports into France (1769-1782) prepared by or for Du Pont de Nemours, and a memorandum by Victorine du Pont Baudy about her father's imprisonment in 1794. There are several newspaper clippings; a number of these concern the Du Pont family and E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co.
