Scope and Contents
The Newspaper clippings scrapbooks sub-series contains mostly newspaper clippings, along with some magazine clippings, correspondence, and television/radio scripts. Many of the scrapbooks include an index. Additional laid-in materials have been filed alongside the scrapbook in which they were found. The scrapbooks are large volumes that date between 1935 and 1981. Materials between 1982 and 1984 were gathered with the intention of being placed in a publicity scrapbook, but were never assembled. These materials include letters accompanying either a press release or an article, a radio interview, and a report to the National Association of Greeting Card Publishers.
