Scope and Content
Within this subseries are 31 sound tape reels, 50 films and 10 videocassettes. Most of this series contains the materials that comprise the complete Zworykin Life Story documentary, including different camera rolls, workprints, narration tracks, and complete interviews with other scientists. There are sound recordings of background interviews, completed by director Fred Olessi, which include many of the scientists who worked with Zworykin such as Dr. James Hillier, Dr. Jan A. Rajchman and Dr. Edward G. Ramberg. There are several digital surrogates of this material but it is uncertain which surrogate matches which film. Ask the Audiovisual archivist for more information on this material.
