Scope and Content
This subseries contains files related to RCA's technological developments in television. It includes advancements in transmission, cameras (including tubes, CCD, handheld, and miniature), color television, picture tubes, and screens. Of special note are the records of introductions of new technologies at the World’s Fair in 1939 and 1964, and of the use of television in the astronomical telescope program Stratoscope I and II.
