Scope and Content
Subseries A is composed of reports, schematics, and photographs generated by Olson during his career in acoustics with RCA. This subseries also includes technical articles and book drafts written by Olson, as well as the numerous letters patent granted to him for his work. Also includes film, video and digital copies of the “Electronic Synthesizer” production. Olson is featured and the film also includes Herbert Belar, an engineer who worked on the project as well. The film describes how the synthesizer works but an example of the music is not heard.
