Scope and Content
This subseries contains flat plans of a handful of interior design projects worked on by William Pahlmann and his firm William Pahlmann Associates. A majority of the plans in this subseries were created by William Pahlmann Associates for individual clients, including Bonwit Teller and Texas A&M University. This subseries also contains two ink drawings of William Pahlmann's personal apartment at 235 East 58th Street in New York City. A noticeable number of plans not created by Pahlmann or his firm, including Westinghouse Electric Corporation's elevator blueprints for the James house at 2 Pierrepont Place in Brooklyn Heights, New York (a residence decorated by William Pahlmann Associates) and drawings of tables by Louis E. De Respinis are found in this subseries as well.
