Biographical Note
Charles O. Fiveash, Jr. (1925-2015) worked as an engineer for the E. I. Dupont Company for 30 years in Kinston, NC. He worked in the Textile Fiber Division in Engineering, Personnel, Manufacturing and Process Divisions until his retirement in 1980.
Fiveash joined the Army in 1943 and participated in the invasion at Normandy and the Northern France Ardennes (Battle of the Bulge), Rhineland and Central Europe campaigns. He was awarded French Liberation Medal for his service in Normandy. After serving his country, Charlie attended Georgia Institute of Technology, earning his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Industrial Engineering.

Interview primarily relates to Fiveash's role in the DuPont Co.'s Dacron business.
