Biographical Note
Thomas J. "Tom" Colven (1928-2017) began his thirty-five year career with DuPont Company in 1950, first in nuclear defense and energy and ultimately in fibers technology at Kinston, North Carolina.
He received a bachelor of arts degree in industrial chemistry, a bachelor’s in chemical engineering and a master’s degree in chemical engineering in 1950.

Interview primarily relates to Colven's role in the DuPont Co.'s Dacron business.
