Historical Note

World's Columbian Exposition, the Chicago previous hitWorld's Fair which was staged from May to October, 1893, commemorated 400 years since Columbus's New World arrival. The architecture was a significant part of the event itself; the buildings included large exhibition halls and buildings representing many states.
