Nevada Cooperative Extension, University of Nevada-Reno. Prepared by Patricia A. Myer, Daniel J. Weigel, and Virginia Haldeman. The purpose of Nevada Cooperative Extension's Financial Fitness Volunteer Program is to extend the money management education efforts of Cooperative Extension agents and specialists through volunteers. The volunteers will serve as teachers of basic money management skills to single or married heads of households. The teaching will occur in (but is not limited to) one-on-one situations focusing on families experiencing financial difficulties.
