This subseries documents Doble, which was built by Abner Doble Motor Vehicle Company of Waltham, Massachusetts (1914-1915); General Engineering Company of Detroit, Michigan (1916-1917); Doble-Detroit Steam Motors Company of Detroit, Michigan (1917-1918); and Doble Steam Motors Corporation of Emeryville, California (1923-1931).
