This subseries documents Auburn Speedsters, which was built by Auburn Speedsters Company, Incorporated of Buffalo, New York and Elegant Motors, Incorporated of Indianapolis, Indiana and Sarasota, Florida. Formats include serials and trade catalogs for various models.
The serials include a January 1, 1975 issue of the Elegant Motors, Incorporated company magazine Elegant Auburn News, and newspaper and magazine article reprints from The Indianapolis Star, Kruse Report, and Playboy. The trade catalogs for specific models include those for the Auburn Speedsters 851, 856, 866, Boattail, and Auburn Speedster, all of which were replicas of original Auburn cars.
