Biographical note

Arnold Rönnebeck (1885-1947) was a German-born American artist, writer, art critic, and art director for the Denver Art Museum. He was a sculptor and painter in the Modernist style, but is best known for his lithographs that feature New York City urban scenes, New Mexico and Colorado landscapes, and Native American dances. He was married to fellow artist Louise Emerson (1901-1980).
