Biographical note

Merrill A. Bailey (1909-1981) was a watercolorist and art teacher based in Cazenovia, New York. His work appeared on the cover of American Artist magazines. He taught at Cazenovia Junior College from 1933 to 1935 and at Cazenovia High School from 1935 to 1971.
