Correspondence also includes discussions of contract negotiations and rewriting; contract breeches, especially in regard to service in Asia; the effects of new wage and hours laws in 1939; installation of a pneumatic tube between Western Union offices at 40 and RCA offices at 64 Broad Street, New York; divestment of Western Union's International Operations; and wartime services, especially money orders, on Okinawa, Japan and Manila, Philippines.
