Hearings of the Senate Subcommittee on Antitrust and Monopoly on the proposed industrial reorganization act, S 1167, which established standards identifying monopoly power, declared such power unlawful and created an Industrial Reorganization Commission and an Industrial Reorganization Court to restructure industries in violation. Includes testimony of William G. McGowan and Kenneth Cox concerning the AT&T monopoly; committee report on S.1167 by the Committee on Trade Regulation; Congressional Record, Senator Hart's introduction of S. 1167.
