Records in the Production files series relate to the manufacture of Quaker products, with some information regarding distribution, machinery, design, personnel, and piecework rates. Reports on production rates and quantities, and inventories of supplies and finished goods make up the bulk of this series. Seasonal forecasts and production files from 1950 thorough 1972 provide information about product lines and the links between sales, design, and production. The production files include a scrapbook of lace samples with information such as fiber content, finished sizes and results of strength tests. Other miscellaneous lace and fabric samples are included in this and other series in this collection.
