Scope and Contents
This small Record Group is comprised of the following two series:
Series I. Lawrenceburg, Indiana, 1893, 1942-1980
This series contains label approvals; clippings and articles; a file on plant procedures; Seagram-produced booklets about whisky distilling, their moderation campaign and company history; and a scrapbook of advertising. The advertisements span 1942-1959 and include several advertisements not found elsewhere in the collection including some from a 5 Crown campaign with an anti-Hitler theme.
Series II. Relay, Maryland, 1950-1976
This small series contains clippings and articles regarding commemorative barrel fillings at the plant. Related photographs were transferred to Hagley's Pictorial Department.
