Scope and Contents
The National Center on Occupational Readjustment (NaCOR) was founded in 1983 by business leaders, including the NAM. The nonprofit collected and disseminated information about ways to ease the effects of plant closings and how to work with local and state communities to alleviate the impact. The subseries dates from NaCOR’s founding until its dissolution in 1989 and document meetings as well as a labor law book project.
