Scope and Contents
In 1994, the Small Manufacturers Department was established from the former Government Regulation, Competition, and Small Manufacturing Department. In 1998, the department underwent another name change to represent more members by becoming the Small and Medium Manufacturers Department. The series is predominately from the leadership retreat and conference the NAM organized annually from 1995 to 1999, but also includes files on compensation in smaller manufacturing organizations and meeting materials.
