Scope and Contents

This series contains a small collection of materials connected to Lemuel Boulware. The series includes twelve of Boulware’s speeches as well as several publications written by or about Boulware. In addition, correspondence between Day and Boulware and letters both to and from Boulware are prominent. Day’s work with Cornell University’s Industrial Labor Relations School to have a scholarly book written about Boulware is documented here, and the series contains materials that illustrate Day’s efforts to have Boulware’s papers archived at the University of Pennsylvania’s Kislak Center for Special Collections. Finally, news clippings about Boulware are included.
