Scope and Contents
This series comprises seven volumes of Reports to Directors and minute books of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Piasecki Helicopter Corporation. These date from 1952 to 1957. The volume of Executive Committee minutes encompasses the company's renaming to Vertol Aircraft Corporation in March 1956.
The remaining eight volumes of the series are minute books of the Vertol Aircraft Corporation, dating from 1953 to 1960. The minute books include those of the Executive Committee, Shareholders, and the Board of Directors. Those which include minutes from 1960 include the takeover by Boeing.
