The expansion of the DUCO paint business in France was one of the more important decisions in the success of the Fabric and Finishing Division in Europe. Not only did the expansion establish a model for future joint ventures with European businesses, much like the joint ventures with Germany and England at the turn of the century, but the expansion also heralded a new global mindset for the management of the DuPont Company
