Biographical Note
Richard Klein received his bachelors degree from Princeton University. Eventually he began work at RCA in Somerville, New Jersey. Klein as an associate engineer working with the semiconductor. In the 1960s he was put in charge of a team responsible for looking at how LCD technology could be used and manufactured. Because of budget cuts the LCD project was discontinued and Klein fired in 1971. At that time he went to work for Ashley-Butler and continued to develop LCD for advertisements.
