Scope and Content
Series I contains annual and quarterly progress reports for RCA Laboratories and its units. The RCA Laboratories annual reports are high level overviews that summarize the more detailed annual research reports. The latter are particularly valuable for both the history of the labs and determining which scientists were working on which projects. With that information, it is possible to then consult their lab notebooks or papers. Unfortunately, the research reports end in 1975.
The quarterly reports from individual units help fill in some of the gaps, but are written for a much narrower audience.
