Biographical Note
Stewart M. Perlow was born in October 1941 and was a research engineer at the David Sarnoff Research Center (later the Sarnoff Corporation) from circa 1975 to circa 1992. Perlow’s work focused on improving technologies related to television reception. His research led him to explore new developments in radio frequency/intermediate frequency (RF/IF), microwave integrated circuits (including MIMIC), varactors, tuners, amplifiers, receivers, converters, and the component materials used to build them. He earned four patents related to his work with antennas and tuners.

The Stewart M. Perlow papers are composed of research records generated by Perlow. They encompass intra-office correspondence, technical reports, papers authored by Perlow, and technical manuals. Additionally, the records include photographs of components developed by Perlow and paperwork related to the filing of his patent applications.
