Articles, correspondence, and various ephemera regarding the many jobs William Pahlmann Associates took part in make up a majority of Volume 13, 1957. Among the clientele served by the firm were Tiffany and Company, the Coral Harbour resort (Nassau, Bahamas), the Philadelphia Country Club (Gladwyne, Pennsylvania), Mt. Sinai Hospital School of Nursing (New York City), Bonwit Teller's New York City store, The Atlantan Hotel (Atlanta, Georgia), and the Columbus Hotel (Miami, Florida). Other items concern Pahlmann's room installations for the 1957 Leather in Decoration Show, table arrangements for Tiffany and Company, the National Homefurnishings Show (New York City), the New York Fashion Group, and the New York Art in Interiors Show.

Volume 13 contains articles and press releases about William Pahlmann Associates' work mention individual employees' contributions. Employees specifically mentioned in these articles and press releases include James Hendrix, Jack Hartrick, Daren Pierce, Dorothy Tremble, Anne Winkler, and Ann Foley.

The Saturday Evening Post magazine featured an article on Pahlmann titled "Million Dollar Decorator" by Maurice Zolotow. The article ran in the November 23, 1957 issue. Press releases, editorial responses, and the actual article are preserved in Volume 13. Articles responding to Pahlmann's opinions on decorating subjects such as practicality, self-expression, elegance, color, inspiration, art in the home, style mixing, and use of the television appear in abundance throughout this volume.

Pahlmann took a leading part in the introduction of General Electric's "Slim Silhouette" televisions, promoting them in advertisements, articles, and by giving a luncheon at their introduction. Examples of Pahlmann's promotion for General Electric are found in Volume 13.

Other items in this volume regard Pahlmann's activities with the AID, his serving as a judge for design contests, talks he gave on decoration and world travel, and a scholarship he awarded to Ann Foley (a William Pahlmann Associates employee) to attend the Bath Summer School on Stewart and Georgian Architecture in Bath, England.

Of special note are two issues of Pahlmannia, which provide information on jobs, clients, and William Pahlmann Associates' employees. The two issues are No.4 (August 1957) and No.5 (December 1957). No.5 includes a photograph of all of the firm's associates.
