Shapdale, Inc., papers are fragmentary. The subseries does not include minutes, accounting books, tax returns, or financial statements (except for statements of the Delaware Trust Building Corporation / Delaware Trust Building Division). The largest and most significant portion of the Shapdale, Inc., subseries is found in the papers of two engineers who worked for du Pont, Howell B. Eskridge and Bernard T. Converse. Both were involved in the various stages of the construction and maintenance of the Delaware Trust Building and other projects and enterprises of du Pont.
