The largest and most significant portion of the Shapdale, Inc., subseries is found in the papers of two engineers who worked for du Pont, Howell B. Eskridge and Bernard T. Converse. Both were involved in the various stages of the construction and maintenance of the Delaware Trust Building and other projects and enterprises of du Pont.
