Historical Note
The company managed real estate in East Marlborough Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, with a livestock farm situated on the property and was incorporated in Pennsylvania on October 8, 1959. The initial stockholders were William du Pont, Jr., president, and Elizabeth C. Bosley Bird, vice president; Charles S. Bird became vice president after 1961. The real estate of the corporation was sold to Mr. and Mrs. Bird after du Pont's death, and the company was dissolved in March 1967 with distribution of assets to the Estate of William du Pont, Jr.
