Historical Note

Morgan Paper Company plant manufactured tissue paper. The plant located in Lititz, Pennsylvania was built by John H. Wickersham Engineering and Construction Company. In 1929, the Consumers' Box Board and Paper Company plant became a division of the United States Envelope Company and changed its name to Morgan Paper Company, the plant began operation the following year. In 1946 the company became an independent corporation.

Scope and Content

The collection contains four photographic prints of Morgan Paper Company plant. There are two exterior and two interior views (one of the factory floor and one of a man in a corner office). The photographs appear to have been taken when the plant was new.
