Images of WTCI Radio installation at Slide Mountain, Nevada.Starting from 1975, MCI leased facilities from cable television company WTCI to provide microwave services to Los Angeles and Denver. In June 1978, MCI purchased the segments of WTICs system between Phoenix, Tucson, San Diego, and Los Angeles and between Denver, Salt Lake City, Reno, Sacramento, and San Francisco.
