Scope and Contents
Warehousing. Includes worker testing large vats; blending and pumping areas; the barreling process including stamping the head, filling the barrel and hammering in the bung; and 1947 and 1970 views of the cistern room where barrels were weighed. Images include many examples of barrel stamps including some for Calvert Bourbon and Four Roses; a forklift and semi-automated system used to move barrels from storage to truck; a barrel stacker; and exteriors of the plant with stacks of empty barrels and lumber.
