Historical Note
Matthew Farber (1984- ) is Director of the Brewing Sciences Program at the University of the Sciences. A native of Bloomsberg, Pennsylvania, Farber grew up in a family of science educators, studied biology at Seton Hall, and earned a doctorate in microbiology with a minor in teaching from the University of Pittsburgh. Following a postdoc at the University of the Sciences, Farber spearheaded the school's emergent program in Brewing Science.
