Historical Note
Barry Holsten (1972- ) is Head Brewer at Flying Fish Brewing Company. A native of South Brunswick, New Jersey, Holsten grew up in an farming family and entered the brewing industry working in a brewing supply shop and using farm equipment to manufacture brewing components. Holsten has brewed in brewpubs, as a contract brewer, in production brewing settings, and, at the time of this interview, runs brewery operations for Flying Fish Brewing Company.
