Scope and Contents
Includes: harvesting sea salt, Mediterranean, inside a salt mine, World Salt Mine, "scoop mobile picking up salt," "shovel loading hopper and elevator to load railcars for transport to plant," "handcart of 50lb blocks to load into rail car," "shovel loading conveyor to load rail cars to take salt to the plant for processing," "sewing filled burlap bags," "One of the first salt harvesting machines and dump trucks. This operation replaced the shovel and rail cars," "Dumping salt into hopper with side-dump trailer," "dumping into hopper to stacking conveyor to build stockpile," "pulling drags to make splits in solar ponds."
