Scope and Contents:

This small record group contains materials related to Paul Masson and the Paul Masson Vineyard. The documents were transferred from the company to Seagram's curator's office when it merged into Seagram. The records regarding Masson include clippings, correspondence, historical background files and personal artifacts. Documentation from the Paul Masson Vineyards includes programs from a concert series, historical background files, and clippings. Photographs from this series were transferred to Hagley's Pictorial Department.

Abstract:

The Pleasant Valley Wine Company is a historic winery founded near Hammondsport, New York, on Lake Keuka in 1860. This brochure is illustrated with seven color lithographic views of wine production and three black-and-white illustrations of the company's wine bottles.
