Scope and Contents

Papers relating to the development of the "Mixobeater," a machine developed for the baking and food processing business. The papers appear to have been assembled by Mixobeater Machinery Company and Meteor Mixing Maching Company president Herman W. Schneider (1913-1987) in prepation for the sale of the company's assets to the Fitchburg Machine Works of Fitchburg, Massachusetts. The bulk of the documents are patents collected in a search for patents that covered a variety of food processing devices.
