Biographical Note
Mary Augusta Lammot (1811-1905) was a daughter of Daniel Lammot (1782-1877) and Susan Parham Beck Lammot (1786-1817) of Philadelphia. Daniel Lammot was one of the organizers of the Wilmington Swedenborgian church in 1858. She married Thomas Hounsfield (1796-1857). The couple had two children: Alice Hounsfield (1833-1904) [who married Victor du Pont (1828-1888)] and Edgar Hounsfield (1836-1911).
