Windsor Farms was one of the first communities in Richmond built with the automobile in mind, with a partial grid characterized by curvy roads. The houses come a variety of styles including Colonial Revival, Georgian, Arts and Crafts, Tudor, and Italianate.
Clarence Wright Huff Jr. (1900-1986) worked as an architect in Richmond and was a senior partner in the firm of Huff, Morriss & Cox.
Eugene du Pont III (1914-1995) worked for the DuPont Company before becoming active in other enterprises incuding Founders Corporation, Panama Refining Company, Petrochemical Company of Panama, Ridgely Realty Corporaion, Can-Amera Oils Sands Inc., and Beacon Oil Corporation.
