This subseries consists of materials related to Catalyst in Education, one of four initial programmatic areas established by Catalyst after its founding in 1962. It was devoted to exploring and fostering part-time teaching work, similar to Catalyst in Social Work, the latter having been more robust in its activities. This subseries consists of the Catalyst publications “Teaching: A National Directory of Preparatory Programs for Women College Graduates” (1964), “Teaching: Opportunities for Women College Graduates” (1964), and “Part-Time Teachers and How They Work: A Study of Five School Systems” (1968), as well as materials related to a home-study program between Catalyst and Hunter College (New York, New York).
