Scope and Contents
This album commemorates a visit David Sarnoff made to White Columns the home of Atlanta, Georgia’s WSB-Radio and WSB-TV on September 30, 1955. The first half of the album contains clippings of newspaper articles. These articles discuss the layout of the new building and include copious photographs. Other articles talk about David Sarnoff’s visit and the speech that he delivered; there are also mentions of other notable individuals who attended the dedication. The second half contains images of David Sarnoff attending the reception and giving a speech at the dedication of the new WSB White Columns building.
