Biographical Note
A native of New Jersey, Gordon received his BS in Mathematics from Rutgers University and did a brief stint in the US Marine Corps during WWII. After the war he worked as a mathematician for the federal government at Fort Monmouth. Eventually he began working at RCA Princeton in 1959. At RCA he rose through the ranks becoming Vice-President of Systems Research in 1977 where he oversaw research on color television. He retired in 1981 and passed away in 1991 at the age of 66.
Scope and Content
This collection contains photographs of Gordon and his co-workers as well as copies of newspaper and journal articles about his life.
