Historical Note
Rose Ritts earned a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from Duke University. She then received her Masters and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford. Ritts also earned a PhD in Corporate, Government and Entrepreneurial Environments from Duke University. Ritts worked for the Sarnoff Corporation as a Project Program Manager and as Director of Biotechnology Systems from the mid-1990s until 2001.
Scope and Content
The Rose Ritts papers include Sarnoff Corporation reports, procedures, and presentations. The papers also include Orchid Biocomputer, Inc. Board of Directors meeting reports, National Technology Alliance Presentation/Recommendations to the U. S. Air Force, and a report on combinational chemistry related patents.
The audiovisual material include two videotapes, “Orchid Biocomputer, Inc.”, an external communications video that explains Orchid Biocomputer’s function and “Bio-Aerosol Collector Development," which depicts the process Bio-Aerosol Collector Development.
